Ring Care Guide

Ring Care

Each piece is shaped from reclaimed cutlery or found material. The exact composition may vary, and in some cases the original material is not fully known.

What remains consistent is the intention: to create something durable, wearable, and made to last.

Over time, your ring will continue to evolve. Subtle changes in tone, surface, and finish are expected, and form part of its character.

Everyday Wear

Your ring is made to be worn. With regular use, you may notice light surface marks, soft wear, or shifts in finish.

These are not faults, but a reflection of how the piece is lived in.

To help maintain its condition:

  • Remove during heavy or repetitive impact (e.g. gym, manual work)

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to water, chemicals, or moisture

  • Apply fragrances or lotions before putting your ring on

Cleaning

For general care:

  • Use warm water with a small amount of mild soap

  • Gently clean with a soft cloth or soft brush

  • Rinse and dry thoroughly

Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, as these may affect the surface.

Polishing

Each ring includes a complimentary polish at the time of purchase.

Polishing is also available as an ongoing service if you would like to restore the finish.

Storage

When not worn, store your ring in a dry place away from moisture and humidity.

Keeping it separate from other objects will help minimise unnecessary wear.

A Note on Material

Because each ring begins as an existing object, markings, variations, and subtle imperfections may be present. These details are intentionally retained and are part of what makes each piece unique.

Rather than remaining static, your ring will continue to develop over time — shaped not only by its past, but by how it is worn.
